I have been both a District and Unitary councillor since 2003, representing initially a Chippenham town ward, followed by a rural ward and divisions. Within this role I gain much pleasure in representing the parishes throughout the Kington division, but also enjoy the challenge as chair of the Strategic Planning Committee for Wiltshire Council.

Additionally wearing another hat, I am also Non-Executive Director for the National Federation of Sub-Postmasters for the South West region.
